Why Holistic Care?

The word ‘holistic’ has recently been used so loosely as a marketing buzzword that there is understandably confusion about what it truly means. So let’s ask ourselves, “What is holistic care anyway?” It is a term used to describe the concept of approaching a person’s body and wellbeing as a whole rather than part by part. To put it simply, a holistic approach suggests a broader, more complete way to look at health and life. When using this approach, many more aspects of health are considered: nutrition, physical activity, the menstrual cycle, physical health in areas other than the issue of concern, stress and anxiety levels, social wellness, emotional and mental balance, spiritual fulfillment, as well as significant past events or traumas.

What is a Health Coach?

A health coach is a highly educated and experienced guide in wellness, mentoring, and biological individuality. A coach’s primary intention is to help support you reach your health goals through education, wellness plans, mentorship, and a multitude of self-care strategizes.

Holistic Feminine Health Coaching

Utilizing my experience and extensive education in female reproductive anatomy and physiology as well as my trainings in abdominal and pelvic manual therapies, the health coaching sessions I offer are specifically centered on feminine health and wellness. I view myself NOT as an authority figure reigning over your wellness plan, but rather a compassionate and knowledgeable partner walking alongside you in your personal healing journey. My intention is to create and nurture a one-on-one relationship with you, recognizing and honoring your uniquely individual biological make-up as well as physical and emotional needs. Our coaching sessions and my approach to your care is always focused on those unique needs, knowing that they will evolve over time.

Through our coaching sessions together you will learn authentic self-care practices, set realistic and attainable health goals, keep motivated and accountable through our partnership, receive personalized wellness plans, and find the space and drive needed for self-healing; all of this as together we collectively build the necessary foundation to support and nourish your body, mind, and soul.
